Faculty & Staff FAQs:

Where is my payroll check?

Direct deposit is the university’s standard method for paying employees. Please refer to the Getting Paid page for more information.

For employees electing not to set up direct deposit, payroll checks will be mailed to the address on file with Human Resources on the day of payroll. Exceptions are if there is an I-9 hold or if the time sheet was turned in after the payroll deadline. You may contact HR at (479) 575-4851 to find out if either of these situations apply to you. If you have not received your check within five business days after the payroll date, you may call HR and schedule a stop pay on the check. If your check is returned with a forwarding address, we will mail it back out to you. If it is returned with no forwarding address, we will email you at your uark account to let you know the check is being held in the Treasurer’s office.
